During this time of economic down-turn, SICA has lost nearly 20% of their grants and donations over the past year- and that was last year. If things continue as the economists predict we will be in dire condition - which will surely cause us to severely curtail our activities, and perhaps requiring the elimination of programs all together.

Did you know that over 70% of funding for non-profits comes from individuals? That's right, not foundations, endowments, or huge corporations - just regular folks like you and me. And if all of our friends could give just a small amount it will go a long way to offset this deficit.

We are aware that while you may want to help support SICA you have to prioritize and balance your giving with your economic necessities. Because of this, SICA has established methods of giving designed to let you fulfill your philanthropic urges without hurting your wallet. By becoming an annual donor a small amount - whichever amount you feel comfortable with, will be charged monthly to your credit card. By spreading your donation out it makes it less painful and far more manageable.
