BEHIND THE COLORED LIGHTS
This short film by Melanie Heinrich, is a behind the scenes look at carnival life. They say when you're a true Carney that it is in your blood. Melanie Heinrich fall into that category. When she was a little girl she worked at the carnival with her mother and her grandparents, and has been photographing the carnival and its people since 1974. |
CHAD ANDERSON
Chad is a poet, teacher, skateboarder and a/v geek from the Jersey Shore. He's been a member of 4 nationally competing poetry slam , was a member of the 2005 NYC Urbana team and the 2007 New Jersey Grand Slam Champion. He is a member of the Executive Council of Poetry Slam Inc. and the creator and host of New Jersey's own poetry slam, self deprecatingly titled, Loser Slam.

FRANCIS KIERNAN Francis Kiernan is a classical flautist with wide international experience as soloist, chamber and orchestral musician. Originally from Ireland he now divides his time between Finland , Los Angeles, and Long Branch (that's right Long Branch!). Kiernan's artistry and charismatic performance style consistently pull audiences into his musical world whether the programme include contemporary or classical repertoire. Working also on major productions his abilities have an impressive expanse and he has held such titles as Operations Executive for the RTE Concert Orchestra (Ireland), Director of the Nordic Film Orchestra and recording producer for Sinfonia Finland (Finland). |

George Wirth is a singer/songwriter with a gift for telling human stories shaped by imagery and narrative. His unaffected, lived-in vocal style and guitar arrangements suit his songs perfectly, with images and melodies that resonate long after the music fades. You will see very quickly why George is every singer songewriter's favorite singer-songwriter! |
